Default Rear Springs Bowing, move upper perch?

Has anyone moved their upper perch or have a solution for correcting the rear springs from bowing? It really only applies for rigs with upper and lower control arms. I set the arms to correct the pinion angle and move the axle back to clear the pinch seam. However, by doing this, it has caused the rear springs to 'S'. This has caused the rear passenger spring to to compress under zero load about a .5" more than the rear driver side.

We used correction plates from the get-go but it didn't seam to do much to make them straight. So, my buddy, who's owns a diesel/offroad shop, made the suggestion of moving the upper perches a couple inches back along with using weld on perches to get the springs straight.

Has anyone with a long arm kit or moved their axle back done this? Is it suggested? Should we look for a larger degree of correction. We haven't done anything yet, waiting on Rough Country to see if I can get the one spring replaced since the spring looks to have lost its spring rate.

U should look at the jks adjustable spring perches. U cut the stock ones off the axle tube, and then u can set the jks ones however u need.

Well once you move the axle and roll it back to correct the pinion angle you really don't need to adjust anymore. JKS adjustables are a little pricey for what you get when a $50 weld on works just as good. I would like to cause its quick and easy but $180 (last i checked) is a little steep for perches

Look at the pictures I posted, I've already got correction wedges. Problem is that it's not enough because the axle is rolled back so I don't pinch my driveshaft. Even with weld on perches the bottom mount will still be about 2" further back than the top because we moved the axle back to clear the pinch seam.

I'm asking if anyone has moved their upper spring mount to compensate for moving the axle toward the rear.

I've wondered the same thing, and it definately can be done. Rustys offroad is a vendor here now. They sell a ton of bracketry and I'm sure they can help you out and they're very reasonable on cost. Just send Rustys a message or call them, or even check their website..This is the route I'd take anyway.
