Default 35" tires, 2.5" susp and 1.25" body lift

Hello, I have recently done a 2.5" suspension lift and installed wheel spacers with 35" wheels and still a little rubbing under harsher jounces with wheels turned in which it contacts factory bumper. I am presently in the works to perform the pinch seam mod and get a new stubby bumper from rough country when money permits.
BUT, here's my question. ... I also have a 1.25" body lift kit which I could install within the next week, but need to know if it will really help with bumper to tire rubbing before I go and do this lift. I have heard mixed reviews on bodylift. Has anyone done a bodylift here on a 2011 JKU rubicon (manual trans)? How easy is it to get this shifter off? Is it worth it? Any other items that will need to be looked at or changed?
Thx for the help in advance.

A BL will lift the body, not the bumpers. (unless it's the RC BL? That has brackets to lift the rear 'stock' bumper). You need more bumpstop to limit the up-travel and/or add that stubby bumper.

thank you for your quick reply. It is the RC lift with bumper brackets for sure.(which is good).
What about the pinch seam? will the body lift cure this possible ailment? Or should I still crop it?

I would still crop the pinch seam. Body lift is straight forward and worth it in my opinion. Yes, the rear pinch seam shows and the gaps in the wells are less then pleasing, however, buy the gap guards from Quadratec for $70 and you won't even know it's there.

Perhaps a set of those plastic stubby's for a stock bumper where you chop off the ends would fix it? They're a lot cheaper than buying a new stubby bumper. I think they're like $60 for a pair. Just a thought. I use those on my Jeep.
