on a stock jk there are not many points to properly highlift. on a rubi you can from the rock rails. This one of the reasons why many people upgrade to aftermarket steel bumpers in order to have proper highlift points

I mounted mine on the tail gate with a kit but in hind sight I wish I had looked for alternatives. It tends to rattle and wag around when romping. I will fix this when I replace the rear bumper..

One thing at a time.

I have mine mounted on my tire carrier, also one on my expedition trailer. I also liked the woods roll bar mount.

make your own roll cage mount with some muffler clamps or u-bolts. a buddy of mine did this...after i paid 80bucks for the hi-lift tube mount. i think he said it cost him about 12 bucks.
