Default Sway bar seems pushed forward now.

I have installed a Teraflex 3.5" lift with upper and lower control arms.
I have also installed wheels & tires. Once I had everything buttoned up and torqued down I had a 4 wheel alignment done.
The only issue was that my driver side front tire had a degree or two more camber(?) than it should. ( where the inner edge of the tire wears first, and I need an adjustable ball joint)

I noticed while doing the install that the drivers side sway bar link was in a bind. I thought that the alignment would resolve this.

The shop that performed the alignment got everything adjusted and it looks like the lower control arms are very close to what Teraflex had in their instructions.

Anyway, I noticed that not only is that lower sway bar link on the axle bent but the top of the sway bar, where the links connect to the bar are less than an 1/2" from my coils. Here are a few pictures:

Maybe I use too much grease..

This hurts me to look at and WOW is it hard to bend back.

This is not great but you can see how the sway bar sits back in the mount toward the axle, away from the bumper:

Thank you for any help and suggestions.

Off topic but what kind of grease did you use. When I put mine in I was handed grease but wasnt sure which kind and it completely decomposed my rubber bushings, called TF and they send me new bushings. I am not to sure about the sway bar being that close, I have the TF quick disco and I have about an inch from bottom to coil, I don't think the bend in the mounting arm would cause that much of a difference.

that's your problem, you followed their instructions and if i recall, they have you set your lower control arms to being something like 24" eye to eye. this is way too much and it's the reason why you are seeing what you are are seeing now - your front axle is way too far foward. i see people with this problem ALL THE TIME and honestly, i don't know why they don't fix their instructions. you should have your front lower arms set closer to 23" eye to eye. trust me on this.

Good info. I ordered my OME lift with TF LCAs and I needed to know this!

Sounds easy enough. Dumb question that I have yet to fing an answer to is,
-what happens to the geometry of the suspension, ie toe or other settings, when I pull the lower control arms in.

-also do I need another alignment after this change?

nothing changes on your toe. you will need to shorten your upper control arms so that you get the amount of caster you want. if you don't, you will end up with too little caster or even negative caster. you don't need to get another alignment as you can do all this yourself:

This might help explain what happens:

The front lower arms are used to either regain lost wheel base from a lift or to adjust the angle of the front axle for correct caster alignment, or both.

The front upper arms are used to adjust the angle of the front axle for correct caster alignment specs if the front lower arms were used to regain wheel base.

If you want to affect caster only - use the upper control arms to do so.

lowers should be at approx 23 center to center, like WOL indicates, I started at 18.75" center to center for uppers.
