Default Heads up on ARB dual compressor

Anyone buying this compressor be careful while installing NPT fittings into the housing. I cracked mine. I also got the ARB locker manifold kit and cracked one of the ports on that too. A little JB weld and some epoxy on the inside and it seems to be good now. The instructions suggest Loctite thread sealer. I just used teflon tape. I ended up using pipe dope in the end. I'll try to post some pics of the setup once I get it all installed.

Yeah I did. It took some work but with some 3/16 gauge and a welder I fabbed up a bracket to hold the compressor and manifold. It sits between the brake master cylinder and the motor. I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow.

I've been thinking about running this setup. But wasn't sure it would fit under the hood.

Pics please!!

Nice I already have the arb single air comp mounted to my master cylinder. I have wondered if this would increase my air up time. I also have the arb lockers. Can't wait to see the pics.

Any issues with this compressor over heating after a long trail ride? My Current compressor (mounted under hood) keeps over heating on me.

I don't have that problem.

Here are some pics guys. It's kind of hard to see what's going on. When I take the compressor out to paint the bracket I'll snap a pic of just the bracket. I'm using one of the master cylinder mounting studs and two locations on the hard plastic piece under the abs module. I have one picture detailing this. So far the sheet metal screws in the plastic is holding up. My guess is that with time these will strip out. I'll probably make a plate to cover the plastic with some studs sticking up to bolt the bracket to. But so far so good. As you can see I don't have my lockers plumbed yet. I'm getting them installed Wednesday. I'm putting a 2 gallon tank under the rear seat and have a hose already stubbed up under the seat. Just waiting for my ViAir tank to show up.
