Default Who makes the best mirrors for use when your doors are off?

I am looking to make a mirror purchase and would like to know what your opinions are on the various aftermarket products for running with your doors off.

Thanks!

I've been researching the same the past few days since here in VA you have to have at least 1 side mirror. I think I have decided to go to the Harley dealer and get a mirror from them that slides into the hingee for the factory door.

I use the Rugged Ridge mirror relocation kit and love it. It looks factory. I use it only on the driver's side and keep the factory location for the passenger side. My state only requires the driver's side mirror.

You're getting this from Harley-Davidson?

I have the American Outlaw mirrors. We like them a lot.

Default I have the Rugged Ridge

I have the Rugged Ridge mirrors mentioned in the above post. I like them because you bolt the brackets on using factory holes and the factory bolts and then just twist the knobs to tighten and adjust the mirrors. No messing with the factory door mirrors! You can find them for a good price and they look better than the factory mirrors relocated. If you're handy you can go the harley route, but for about the same money the RR mirrors are easy and look really good.

I had the olympic 4x4 safari mirrors before, but I wanted to be able to run soft doors in the future so I sold them. They were good, but I prefer the RR ones.

Yeah from everything that I have researched the Harley mirrors will slide into the factory hinge and have a washer on top and a nut on the bottom to secure them. I can get a single black mirror for $35 that will be able to be put on when the doors are off and removed and back to factory when the doors are put back on. Simple solution just to be used when the doors are off.

It depends on what your definition of "Best" is. For me, I needed something that I could put on and take off easily, low cost and would not look to bad when on. I purchased the "CIPA Eurosport Mirror" from Advance Auto. If you go to their site, I could only find the lighted version. When I go in to the store, they have the regular version - $14.99. It works great.
