From my experience Duplicolor wheel paint goes on super thin so set time aside for a lot of coats. It does turn out nice though.

And don't make the mistake of using their Bed Armor, it's a very thick rubber spray.

Many many many threads on this
Its all in the prep - scuff, clean, tape, spray. No primer needed. 2-3 coats and you're good. Touch up when you need to. No sense in wasting money on a pwdercoating job unless you're getting it for a really cheap price thats cheaper than 3 cans of bedliner, some masking tape, sand paper, old newspaper and the 6 pack of beer you can drink during the afternoon it takes you to do this.

Thanks- it's from walmart. $7 a can. I also chose to use self etching primer (right next to the bedliner in the auto section). Cheap insurance. Scuffed em up real good, cleaned them, and starting spraying.

I was so nervous to do them. I've never spray painted something like that, and everyone (non jeepers) thought I was crazy when I told them my plans. I'm a girl, so I knew I'd never live it down if I screwed them up. Needless to say, I'm proud of how they came out and glad I did it!

For those of you that have used the Duplicolor paint how has it held up? I know it isn't going to hold up to rocks but for everyday use does it work well?

It's holding up great on mine. They've been off roaded, scrubbed, and pressure washed. The only place the paint has failed it from hard hits on roads that gouged deep into the aluminum. The paint isn't flaking off around the scratches either so I'm very pleased.
