Teraflex 4" LCG longarm OR Rancho 4" longarm
SO i currently have a TF 2.5" lift on 35's which i love, but once my 35's wear out i plan on going to 37" tires and a longarm suspension BUT i cant decide between the TF 4" LCG LA or the Rancho 4" LA, i love teraflex but the rancho system has the trans crossmember and the rear Y-link with a crossmember which i didnt see on the TF system, can anyone help sway me to either lift cause right now im on the fence with which one, and the jeep is my DD and will see mostly street driving but i know both lifts will be fine on the road
I'm pretty sure that this is going to be a 1-sided vote here. Teraflex has a pretty huge fanbase, and there are plenty of reasons why. They are a top-notch company.
Only other one I'd add to the mix would be Rock Krawler.

I might be a bit bias because I have the 4" Teraflex lcg kit. I absolutly love it and should have done it two years ago when I put on my Teraflex 4" short arm kit. I also have 37" tires and have room for 40's with some trimming. Teraflex customer service rocks too! If I every buy another Jeep, I won't even drive it till it has a Teraflex long arm on it... Buy Teraflex, have somebody great to install it for you if you can't and enjoy! Worth every penny...
Plus Rancho is a Radius kit which most people say to stay away from.

The same can be said about a 4 link as well.
Both work.
I thought we had a great setup before when I pieced our lift together from several companies.
But when we finally decided to do the Teraflex 6" LCG setup..... what a differance.... and with the Fox shocks... its a no brainer what lift we will continue to run in the future.

I had a TF lift and thier customer serivce was top notch..TF always helped me replace all the stuff that broke
. And they are close to me and get stuff replaced in a day or two....But just didnt like the quality of the stuff. I went through 3 shocks that leaked in the first year, control arm bushings in less then a year and couldnt get the CA to take grease ever. even brand new they took grease one time and never again which prob why my bushing went to shit. This was a couple years ago and maybe the stuff is better now...idk. But i will never find out unless TF want to prove me wrong and set up my jeep.
haha. I will trade my current lift in and post a full retraction if its improved!!
But again... the TF guys are right there for you as well as RK.

Here's what comes in the 6" Elite Long Arm System (#1257600), I just wanted to point out to you the rear HD trackbar (#1754418) and flip draglink/frame brace (#1600440) that are great upgrades to the TeraFlex 4" system. As you can see, all the of the control arms are adjustable so you can dial in everything. TeraFlex FlexArms use a combination of FlexJoints and Clevite bushings. The flex joints are easy to maintain and quiet. I just pulled a set of clevite bushing off my JK 62,000 miles on them and they were still good. We avoid drop pitmans due to the extra stress to your sector shaft in the steering box. A (#1600440) flip drag link kit is a good solution to correct your steering geometry. TeraFlex uses a 4 link front / rear setup for added strength and to maintain axle geometry when flexing. By using 4 mounting points the load on the bushings is spread over 4 points. This prolongs bushing life/limits bind during flex and improves on road stability. Also TeraFlex has a LIFETIME Warranty on our products.
