Never heard about thsose lights...
Went on your website and they look nice (81 series, LED auxiliary work 7" round, on page 108 of your online catalog).
What type (spot, work, flood) would you suggest for windshield mount?
And did the polycarbonate lens protect will really protect against rock? Same as a cover or a grill for the on road use?
Thanx

Hello all.
A windshield-mounted lamp would best warrant our 7" round or 4" round line. We have spot lamps (narrower beams of heavy-focused light), flood lamps (near-vehicle, wide beams of light) or work lamps (general purpose lighting) available for both lines. There are images of Jeeps with both sizes of the lamps that have been posted to the Truck-Lite Facebook wall, and you can find a better diagram of the light patterns on the Contest page for the light giveaway.
I believe the iPhone App does not show the tabs other than Photos, Wall and Posts, so you may need to visit a desktop browser to find the contest tab. We'd love to hear everyone's thoughts on improved visibility.
Let me know if there are any other questions.
Thank you,
Jerry Lee

Some info. on the polycarbonate lenses...
Check out this video, where we demonstrate the impact resistance of the Truck-Lite LED Headlamp (which shares the same design as the 7" auxiliary lamps): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ic9AvlaZbrg or this link, where we demonstrate the same for the 4" line: http://www.youtube.com/truckliteco#p/u/5/o9qTtK67jsY
I don't believe a lens guard will be necesarry.
Thanks,
Jerry Lee
