Waiting for the DI version of the 3.6 or for a diesel seems a little easier now.

X2. We need a diesel option here. I have heard the reason we don't yet is due to emission issues?

I won't buy any Jk newer than an 11 model if they don't offer a diesel engine for it. I drove a new one with the 3.6 and it was a little better in acceleration than the 3.8 but not worth it in my opinion. They even try to hide the thing in the engine compartment, what's up with that. I will just get a rubi someone has traded in for a 12 if it comes to it.
