Interested in your thoughts on a certain aftermarket parts company
First the good. After ordering $2,500 worth of stuff from 4wheelparts the majority of it came quick and I was very happy. Then they made an error by sending me the wrong shocks. It has been a nightmare trying to get this corrected. No one will take responsibility for getting this corrected though they did admit their website was in error. So I had to buy additional shocks while sending the wrong shocks back. Not so bad, right. Problem is that I ordered the first set of shocks nearly a month ago, it took 3 weeks to get me those...then I purchased the other set a week ago and no one seems to know where those shocks are, when I may receive them, and it usually takes me a half hour or more getting passed from one department to another just to find that out. Very frustrated.
If you have the opportunity to order from anyone else, even if it for a little more, save yourself the trouble and don't order from 4wheelparts. Sorry for venting but as consumers the only avenue we have to get this info out is through awesome forums such as this.

I agree 100%....I have about five "4 Wheel parts" shops near me.....some of the employees are good but......I sure dont know about most of them. Go Nortridge 4x4.

I just bought a lot of stuff from 4WD Hardware which I understand is the same company as 4 Wheel Parts. I ordered on Monday (bumpers, lift kit and lights). It's already here 3 days later. I can't complain about their service and their prices were cheaper than any of the other companies.

Sorry I posted this rant twice...I didn't find my first post and thought it was deleted. Not good on my part. Please accept my apologies guys.
On a more positive note, I love the forums and enjoy reading the commentary...to make up for it I'll post some pictures soon of my next off road adventure or from a couple of my recent ones. No more bitching.
