Default Finally going to order tires. Final questions?

I will place the order for a set of 35x1250x17's tomorrow. In january 2012 I plan on doing 5:13 gears, EVO sleeves, gussets, and lca skids.

Until I install these mods, I feel better about running pretty much stock with a set of BFG KM2's. With that said, I am really stuck on the Toyo Open Country MT.

Is this tire too heavy to run on a stock dana 30 and 3:73 (auto) even for 4 or 5 months? I do plan on re-programming with a superchips flashpaq when the tires are installed.

BTW, no offroad until next year. This Jeep is strictly for cruising around town.

I did it for a little while with those tires and it is not ideal, but it will be fine. I highly recommend the toyos, they wear like steel, tough sidewalls, and do great on road and off.

Toyota are heavy but you should be fine for on road use. I would recommend gusseting sooner than later as even pot holes can bend the weak c with larger/heavy tires.
