Default *Poll* Supercharged 2010 or Stock 2012

Ok, which would you guys rather have, this excludes lifts, tires, wheels... etc.

2010 rubi with headers, full exhaust, supercharger and tune.

or

2012 rubi with stock motor

Going with the stock 2012 will give you quite a bit more power without voiding your warranty. Plus when RIPP comes out with a kit for the 2012 you will be really kicking ass then.

Default I have a 2010

I have a 2010 SC JKU. I have not had time or been able to find a local dealer who has a 2012 on the lot.
I started thread asking if anyone with a SC 3.8 had test drove a 2012 to compare the two and that went nowhere.
I have heard some good things about the power of the 2012. I have too much invested in mine to fool with getting a 2012.
Good luck.

If I were starting from scratch, I would take the 2012 because of the warrenty and extra power right out the box.

But you'll have to wait a lot longer to do a lot of the mods most people do to their jeeps.. wont you?

Gears is the big thing right now, possibly sliders. But bumpers and lifts are fine.

I'd go with the 2012 motor only- not entire Jeep though

I imagine with a few changes it can be made to push 305HP since it's the same block as the Challanger which could mean more power boost options with engine mods (not entire block replacement)

I was looking at Hemi conversion, now kind of holding to see if 3.6's start showing up as transplant option, 305HP in the Jeep would rock (IMO), lightweight and the torque it produces in the low end....

I would take the '12 route also, but when a new SC comes out, that engine compartment will be even busier!

Yeah...but I'm in no hurry. Hell, I have not even purchased the Wrangler yet. Waiting to see Crush, Black Forrest, and Winter Chill in person (and hoping Sahara Tan comes back....along with waiting for Jeep to figure out what exactly comes with each tow package).

AEV may have their software updated by the end of the month.....

Great point about the warranty...I'd go with the 2012.
