Default Heavy LOD Rear-What size spacer?

Hi, I have a X unlimited.

I just installed a LOD Full Width Rear Bumper WITH Jerry Can holders and Trail Rack. Also mounted is a 35in Toyo and who knows how heavy my actual wheel is.

I didn't measure the rear height before installing the bumper (I was to much in a hurry to install it), but now the rear obviously sags, but so much it might as well be stock height.

I've measured the diff between the front and rear and it is 2.5 inches!

I've looked under the Jeep and my rear drive shaft actually looks level with the ground.

I haven't even put my gear back in the rear or anything on the trail rack/Jerry cans.

I don't have a front bumper or winch yet, but was gonna go with the RR XHD stubby and 10K lbs winch...later.

A few have said 1in, but thats before I knew how much of a difference the front was.

1in doesn't seem like much or enough, but I don't know what it actually looks like or does to the jeep.

Should I:

a: get a terraflex 1in rear coil spacer
b: another brands 1.75 coil spacer
c: dare a 2 in coil spacer
d: get X size spacer, but take out the factory spacer which is about 1/2in

Thanks for your input

Are you on stock suspension now? It really shouldn't sag if you're on a suspension lift. But, if you're on spacers then I guess I can see that happening. I think the only appropriate real quality fix would be to get a suspension lift. Get it before you get your front bumper or something...

I strongly suggest replacing springs (ie, a suspension lift) such as the ome hd or similar. Regardless of how many spacers you add, your stock springs are being smushed (technical term) and have precious little travel left.

I have same rear bumper, and also a front winch bumper - had spacer lift at first and quickly went with suspension lift, no regrets.

forgot to add that. I have a procomp 4in lift...yeah, I'll be changing that out later too..that's why I'm aiming at coil spacers for now.

BTW...I really don't think it is 4in of lift. More like 2-2.5.

Just trying to level it back out (counter the 2.5in difference to the front)...maybe a little more to compensate for when its loaded.

I have the LOD stubby rear and tire carrier. After installing it I added 1" TF coil spacers. I wish I would have done 1.5-2" instead.

That's good to know.

This bumper and tire carrier is Heavy. I used to load my JK and the rear didn't budge. But this bad boy dropped it.

I'm thinking of doing a 2in coil spacer and if its too much or the front drops from a new bumper/winch, I'll take out the rear factory spacer (dropping the rear 1/2in)

I'll also have to watch out for my brake lines/abs wires.

More ideas/opinions Please!

You could just add a body lift.

Am I gonna have to adjust anything when I put this 1.75 coil spacer on? Just ordered the
RE 1.75 rear spacer.

I really hope I didn't order too much height to where I have to readjust anything.

Is it ok to remove the factory coil isolator and just put in the coil spacer?
