Default For people running OME Lift with track bar bracket only

Anyone just running the OME lift by itself using the rear track bar bracket only? With mine installed the axle is pulled about 1/4" from where it should be. Anyone else having this issue? I am trying to decide on whether or not to buy the JKS adjustable bars or just use the bracket and be happy. It will probably end up driving me crazy (OCD) if I don't just fork out the cash for the new bars.

Unfortunately, brackets are made for a specific lift height. Since there are like 15 different OME coils for the JK, hard to say going into the lift whether or not the bracket will center your axle.

If you don't want an adjustable, and depending on which direction it is off, you could add more weight to lower the actual lift height, or add more height with coil spacers. But rather than trial-and-error it, just buy an adjustable - or leave it alone.

I think that pretty much sums it up. If I don't do it it will constantly sit on my mind. OCD and Jeeps are not a good combo lol

I had the same problem and was pretty upset that the OME lift "kit" didnt come with reposition brackets. I bought the brackets installed them and problem solved

I am running with this bracket for the time being as the axle sits around 1/2" off center (MD coils on 2-door).
I have ordered through Northridge 4x4 the adjustable trackbar and will install it once it arrives.
I do not "like" much the added pressure on the already weak OEM trackbar mounts.
