ive seen some posts on here about needing to grease the ball socket in the cardan joint so its about time for a oil change wich is about 3k on new shaft so i dont see any lubepoints except the slideing yoke it has a regular zerk fitting no spots to greaseon joints anywhere i even removed the shaft to be sure what do i do? did the older coast shafts have a place to grease? it doesnt look dry

Coast uses sealed spicer joints. If there is no zerk fitting, you can't grease it. Just replace it when you think it needs replacing.
