Default 4 dr axle on a 2 dr?

I found a guy willing to ship me his non-rubi D44 to swap out my D35. I notice the wheel base difference but will I be able to use his 4 door axle on my 2 door?

I'm pretty sure the axles are the same width, they are just spaced further apart. From my understanding axel is the same but driveshafts are different. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks guys!
GON- did you upgrade your driveshaft? Or is it just the JKU driveshaft is longer?

Under 2? I thought it was more like 4?!

Just picked up an NIB ARB air locker for 675 now if I can get the axle shipped for 1325 or under I'll be golden.
The 44 will open up many possibilities the majority of JK'rs already enjoy

Be sure to check the spline count on the ARB. aRB uses a 35 count shaft which is different than stock rubicon or X shafts

ARB is available in 27, 30 and 35 spline count. I don't think they offer the Rubi 32 count though I could be wrong. So be sure to know what spline count your axles are inside your 44. D30 is 27 spline.

His first post indicates a "non-rubi" rear d44. It is 30 spline. So as long as the arb is 30sp, he's good to go. Though $1300 for that axle is pretty steep. Must be a hell of a shipping charge.

A few 07's came with d35's. (build dates prior to Jan or Feb 07, I think).
