Default RIPP supercharger Emissions Test

Does the RIPP supecharger cause any issue during an emissions or smog test?

Did some research and found that the superchargers are not CARB approved, though many people in CA are running these upgrades.

Will not pass the visual inspection. You will have to take off the supercharger and put back on the OEM filter and you should pass.

Don't have to worry for a couple more years. New cars are exempt for 6 years after manufacture from smog checks.

Just found this on the RIPP site

"...simply remove the longer serpentine belt supplied and powering the SDS, and reinstall your factory belt which takes minutes and your completely back to stock. This also comes in handy if you live in a state that require stringent emissions testing, simply take the SDS out of the loop and your back to stock..."
