Default ProCal or wait for 11 Superchips?

So I finally got my lift and tires and now I need to adjust for tire size. Is it worth it for me to wait for the superchips to come out with the flashpaq for the 2011's or do I just pick up the ProCal and be done with it?

I know superchips is an actual tuner and does a lot more than just TPMS and tire size but I have a 6-speed and im wondering what other benefits Ill get out of the supershpis anyway.

Any help/opinions or advice is appreciated.
Thanks

Another option may be to find a deal on a Procal and sell it if you decide to upgrade to a Superchips when/if it finally comes out. There are a few people on here who have had both and maybe can tell you if they noticed a lot of difference and if the upgrade was worth it. May depend on your driving/wheeling, mods, towing, and location (hills, etc) if it's worth it.

I got tired of waiting and bought a ProCal new in box from a forum member for $105 shipped.

Do yourself a favor and get the ProCal. A tuner for the '11s is NOT going to happen anytime soon, if at all. Try asking Superchips, Diablo, BullyPup, etc...they'll blow you off or tell you "we're working on it". Been the same song and dance for a year now. It's not going to happen and they should just tell people.

Thats not a bad idea. If no one who has both replies to this thread Ill have to ask around. I need to do something soon and Superchips is saying November but NOT to hold them to that. Maybe for the $150 its worth it to just get the ProCal and see what happens with Superchips down the line. Im thinking the only other thing I may benefit with the superchips is the 87 octane tune.

Thanks for the advice

Yeah I saw lots of angry folks on the superchips forum who had 11's and you're right if they are not or cant produce it than just let people know. Its not like Im gonna get rid of my 11 for something Superchips will work on.

thanks

I thoufgt I read that the Procal does not work for the 11' also! So, those with 11's and a Procal confirm it works!

According to aev's site it states 2007 and newer whereas superchips say up to 2010. Either way would be nice to have someone confirm it does or doesnt work for the 11.

I thought since the Procal can do tire and speedo calibrations and TPMS disables but no actual tuning that it does indeed work for the 2011.

My Jeep was built in February 2011, and so far every function that I've used on the ProCal has worked flawlessly. I turned my DRLs on, changed my tire size, and changed my TPMS setting. Took about 15 seconds total.

I love this thing. If you set your tire size one time, it'll almost pay for itself (most dealers charge $90 to do that).
