Just my .02 Before posting here I would hope you called and talked to them about this. You should always give the Vendor, MFG a chance to fix the problem.

Come on, you can't just declare stuff like that. What was the outcome of calling them? Was there a resolution set up?

Fill in the rest of the story. From your other thread - 7 inches of lift on a 2door. Stock control arms so the pinion is not lined up. You did not grease the joints at install. And you claimed that the driveshaft caused your transmission to fail. Sound about right?

Hmmm. Im no mechanic, but that sounds like a good cause for the failure.

On the original install of my lift I got almost 7 inches of lift. It's at a shade over 4 now. The drive shaft went on a month and a half ago. It was greased when i got it. And has been regreased twice. The Pinion angle has nothing to do with this issue. The shop is even saying these u joints are defective. So unless your a master mechanic your constant down talk isn't appreciated.

Ahhh. Ok. I remember that thread now. Well as WOL said, TW does use cheapo u joints...Not really sure why, bc other than that they seem to have a decent product. I had them on my XJ and had to replace u joints every 6 months or so, and I'd just replace them with crap from NAPA.

Out of curiosity, any luck with calling them??
