Default Where to put a new tire in a 5 tire rotation with 16k miles?

I have a set of KM2s and recently got a flat that can't be fixed so I'm getting a new tire. I've been running the 5 tire rotation for 16,000 miles and am wondering where is the best place to put the brand new tire? Seems like the rear to me but I'm not sure

I'd say, put it in the location where the spare would normaly go. That way, it will go through a full rotation before it rotates out.

That is the method I use.

That makes the most sense. Luckily the one that popped was the right rear so I'll just replace it there.

I know how to do the 5 tire rotation guys, but thanks

I'd rather have it in the rear to start than having a brand new tire mixed with a 16k one in the front; don't want to have steering and tracking issues. But you're right they do receive the most wear.

5 tire rotation is bad ass. 16k on my KM2s and they look almost new.

If you drop it into the #1 position, it will eventually make it through all the positions. So what is the point?
