Default Stock Tire Carrier

I plan on putting 35's on my 2010 2-door JK. Can my stock tire carrier support that or is there a part I can put on to fit the larger tire without buying an after market bumper and tire carrier.

It'll work...but after time it may start to warp your gate...or rip it off entirely. I got a carrier since mine was showing sings of warping. If you just carry it on the road or smooth conditions you should be ok for a while.

Could do longer bump stops, keep the spare in the Jeep on trails, and some campanies make a mount meant to be stronger than the stock.

Yeah I've been seriously thinking either a new rear number w/ tire carrier or a new tire carrier cuz of all the rattle I get from
My tailgate... I only have 33"s but I can tell its putting stress on it

Found a deal at a local 4x4 shop on a rear bumper/carrier and put it on and now I don't know how I ever ran it on the door. Not recommended from me.

I did some research on the options to beef up the stock door and mounts. Honestly, the general agreement seems to be that these are just very temporary band-aids. I would think any sort of offroading and an trail that would hurt the stock mount would also hurt the aftermarket options.
I am running a 34 nitto trail grappler on a stock rim. Smittybuilt has a tire carrier for stock bumpers for around 100 dollars. It works great and has the third light relocate. Believe it can handle up to a 37
