Default not a healthy sound

Is it normal to hear different popping sounds after a lift kit is installed when suspension is articulating?

Did you install the lift? Did you torque to spec with the Jeep on the ground or up in the air afterward?

Yes. Torque needs verified if you didn't install though.

Have you checked your sway links? Some say that they can get loose after a lift or after a while and start a popping sound. I haven't any experience with this but I check them regularly with my track bars. Are your springs seated properly? Not sure if this would cause a pop but just throwing these out there.

I installed my lift this past Monday.....I am getting the same thing....but only on highspeed hard bumps......99% is all good and then you hit that one and it is loud....I have checked all torque settings on everything.....nothing is loose.....springs appear to be in the right locations...my lift is the Teraflex 2.5" with shocks and coils....call me confused!!!!

I got a little after I installed Teraflex mid-arms, especially during minor articulation - greased the fool out of them, and all is better now (I thought they came already lubed and ready for action, but adding more until it was "squirting" out the sides definitely helped in my case).

I'm running rk 3.50 x factor mid ARM and I was thinking it was my flex arms since I haven't lube them for awhile now .

Sounds like you may have found the culprit, and if not, those arms could probably use the TLC.

Time to log off and get to work.
