Default JKS ACOS vs teraflex speed bump vs the others...

JKS ACOS pro seems like an interesting product. You can adjust height, and improve axle deflection. Downside, is the insane cost for this product. Then their is the teraflex speed bumps, which happen to be a lot cheaper, but you can not adjust height. I would like to have these for off camber stuff and the hard impacts. Any opinions out there?

We decided to run the regular ACOS in the rear as well as the rear Teraflex Speed Bumps.... So far very happy with the setup.

My goal is to improve upon my current suspension, without going the coilover route. Looking at elka vs king shocks and upgraded bumpstops. Just trying to figure out what I want to do.

Hydraulic or air bumps will help with high speed bottoming out of the suspension and dropping off rocks, thats about the only thing you gain from them. If that is what you are concerned about I would make sure my front axle was up to par for that kind of abuse. Other wise they are just some expensive fancy bling on a daily driver.
I plan on running as difficult trails as I possibly can. Rocks, off camber, hills, descents, etc. Nothing is wrong with my current suspension, just looking to make some upgrades on specific components. It would seem that the bumps would, in addition to soak up high speed bottoming out, help with that jarring feeling when you come off a large rock.

The biggest difference between the TF system, and the others is that TF uses an elastomer (similar to the yellow bumpstop portion on the JK, but their own blend) to absorb the energy, where other companies use gases like nitrogen. This means that while the TF system absorbs some of the energy, there also is some released back into the suspension. There is less energy released back into the system than stock, however it is still there.

The systems that are gas charged only do not release any of this energy back into the suspension, absorb the bumps better than the TF system. The only question is the extra money worth the extra benefit. Most people they probably won't see much benefit of adding on a gas only bumpstop over the TF system.

No comparision IMO. Really not a big fan of the stinger idea, especially the rear where the SB works w/the stock BS. Seems a cushion against a cushion is poor idea for a bumpstop, IMO. I run the ACOS pro in the frt. Looking to mount cans in the rear & some bumps I can get a good price on in classifieds. Too much lift by adding the rear ACOS Pro. Keep in mind I bought them barely used for a steal. I too would be leery of the price they go for new. They are a great addition though, as I enjoy mine as an all-arounder from rocks to desert runs.
