Anyone have any suggestions for a mounting plate and winch that will be the lowest profile for the stock bumper? I've seen the rough country plate and it looks nice, just sits a little high for me. Would it be possible to trim some plastic to get it to sit lower? Im open to other suggestions other than a new bumper? Thanks

 

I am using a smittybilt winch mount sits on top of the bumper, frame mounted. Also many have modified the stock bumper so the winch sits between the frame rails. Do a search for stock winch bumper, there is a write up. Good luck

 

Any idea how much lower it would sit by mounting the winch to the frame vs installing it on the bumper?
