Metalcloak fender liners?
Anybody using these? I'm thinking about buying them. I just have chopped fenders and my front liners are shitty. These are aluminum and seem nice. So....anyone got these???

let us know how it goes! what fenders are you using? I hate the idea of letting people see how bad I am with a sawsall/dremel, so I'd love to know about an after market liner that works well

They look pretty nice and would keep stuff especially mud out of the engine compartment but if you are running coil overs they don't work. Might be able to modify them but out of the box they aren't compatible with one another...I looked into them about a year ago. Hope this helps someone who might be interested in them who is running coil overs!
I have these. Only have one piece out of 3 installed, and driver side only. This is the most recent shot of it that you can see the liner:

I have a '12 and the next piece over has some interference with a hard line in the wheel well. I just haven't had the time to modify it. I haven't installed the small body panel filler piece either because I wasn't sure whether I was going with metalcloaks fenders, and I didn't want to drill holes where they wouldn't line up later on. Since I put that first piece in though, I've gotten much more comfortable with making holes in the Jeep so maybe I'll get to it soon. I used an aerosol bedliner on them. You can see the bare aluminum in this picture where the stock Rubicon tires rubbed them while out wheeling. Hopefully the spacing on the new 35's will alleviate that. Nice product overall, but those have been my issues.
