Default Questions about wheel sizes?

Hey guys, so I'm pretty new to the whole aspect of upgrading anything on a jeep and had a question regarding wheel size width. I'm looking at either 16x8 and 16x10 wheels, what will the overall difference be? I plan on upgrading to 35's eventually and currently have 32s. Also, if I have 32's made for a 17inch rim will they work on a 16 inch rim or will i need to get new tires for the new rim? Thanks.

17inch rims will only fit tires designed for 17 inch rims. It's the same for every tire. 15s 16s 17s and so on.

The 8 and the 10 are describing the width of the rim. Both should work fine. If your going to go with a 13.5 inch wide tire I'd grab a 10inch wide rim. People run 35x12.5x17 tires on stock rims with a spacer all day long.

going with 16inch rims and tires will save you money. I just found there are not nearly as many choices for rims in 16inch

Go with a 16x8 wheel, as it's lighter (smaller = less weight) and will hold the tire better when aired down.

Once you have those 35's installed your speedometer will be out. Our speedos are computer based and many companies offer easy to use units to recalibrate it.
