PSC Rocker Knockers
Anyone here have a set and actually use them on rocks? I'm trying to get an idea if these will work for me as I don't want to use the Brawler rockers with side armor.
Please chime in if you have some real world experience with them.
TIA!

I have the Rocker Knockers on my 2 door and am very happy with them. They have held
up really well despite 2 week long trips to Moab and 2 summers of wheeling in the rocks
here in Colorado. I just hit them with some Rustoleum in the fall and they look like new.
Note that they are shipped as bare metal so you will need to paint them or have them
powder coated. The instructions were excellent and easy to follow.

I try not to 'drop' the weight of my Jeep on any part including the sliders however it does happen. The most
I have dropped the full weight of one side of the Jeep on to the slider is probably only 12 inches. Outside of gashes
in the slider, no body damage. I will always try to gently ease over a ledge or rock as opposed to just dropping off
and hoping my armor holds up. Pivoting is no problem whether it is against a rock or tree, however I suspect my
2 door pivots easier than your unlimited. Like I said, I take a slow, cautious approach to all obstacles. I am not out to
stress test my skids. My Jeep has to get me home and continue to function as a daily driver. I did a lot of reading
when I was looking at the PSC sliders and I did come across a couple of posts saying stuff like "my cousin's brother
in law in Cleveland knew a guy that bent his rocker knockers" but I really was not able to find someone who owned
them that had anything bad to say. What really sold me on these was that they are tucked up under your Jeep closer
than any other brand from what I could see. And despite not being mounted directly to the frame, there are enough
mount points to the body and the pinch seam to make it really solid. Hope this helps. There are lots of excellent choices
out there. Good luck with your decision!!
