Default Death wobble - with rubi springs and shocks

Had my stock sport springs and shocks replaced with rubi springs and shocks. Had that done on Tuesday and experienced a little wobble when I hit a bump at high speeds. Then today I hit a bump at 50mph and experienced really bad death wobble. I did not think I would get this with just replacing springs and shocks. I also have JKS disconnects put on, which I don't think would cause a problem. Could it be that my lift 1.5in in he front 1 inch in the rear is too big for my Goodyear SRA tires? I didn't think so since I didn't get that much lift. Ideas?

Did your installers re-torque everything, especially the track bar?

Make sure that your disconnects are connected and tight. Did you you move anything in the front end while putting in the lift? Trackbar, steering stabalizer, pitman arm any of thing?

I don't know. I had a local Offroad shop do the work for me. I have a call into them.

The problem as nothing to do with the springs or shocks you have a lose or worn componet somewhere in the front end, most likely the track bar.

You should give them a call and ask if they had to move anything, they most likey did have to. If so like others have posted its prob your trackbar not being tightened enough, or being poorly positioned

I agree, start at the trackbar and make sure it's torqued on right.

You should read the following thread and educate yourself so when you are talking to you local shop you are on the same page.

Good luck!

Also, you could have issues if they didn't bother to take the time to loosen the trackbar when they started.

Lower trackbar bolt was about half a turn loose. Torqued it back up. The rest of the components were tight. Shop wants me to keep an eye on it and bring it back and leave it if it happens again. Drive home was uneventful. So we will see.

DW came back. Will be printing out planmans write up and take it to the shop that did the work so they can trouble shoot.
