Default Anticipating front end sag?

I think I've decided to install an LoD full width bumper and am going with either a sec8 scout or recon 10500 winch. Weight of winch and bumper and lights is about 160 lbs. 07 rubicon 4 dr and right now I'm a half inch lower in front vs the back. I would like to maintain this profile. While I have everything torn apart I am going to add a front end coil spacer. my question is how big of a spacer 3/4 or 1 inch? I weigh about 195 and when I stand on bumper it see,s to sag about 1 inch. The equipment being installed is about 35 lbs lighter. Opinions please! Thanks!

I would go with the 1 inch spacer. Close to what you are looking for, and if it settles a little bit, then perfect!

I have a shrockworks middy with a warn 9.5ti. I put in Daystar 2" coil spacers and that put me level front to back with no rake at all which is what I wanted.

I would go with at least a 1" spacer. You may be better off going with a whole new set of front springs. OME should have something that fits your needs. I think you might be underestimating how much that combo is going to weigh. When I got my Smitty XRC8 winch with synthetic line, the shipping weight on the label was 92lbs. The packaging couldn't have weighed more than 10lbs. I can't imagine that the LOD full width is anything under 100lbs. Maybe you could PM Dave @ Northridge to see what the actual weight is. Add in lights and d-rings, and your looking at around 200lbs. Take away the weight of the stock bumper(40-45lbs), and that's around a 160lb difference. The factory rake is around a 1/2", so you will probably need to make up almost an inch an a half of sag. Plus, I think you will be much happier with the ride quality of an upgraded set of springs over the OEM.

I would definitely do the 1" spacer. In the long run you may want to swap to different spring as that increase in weight will more than likely continue to progressively sag more over time

Spacer for a quick cheap fix, but different springs will maintain the suspension travel and probably ride better. Its the same amount of work (not much) either way.

You deff want to do something. I put on the XHD shorty with stinger and 12000 Mile Marker winch and my sags a lot. I was gonna put the 2.5 coil lift in feb (get my bonus than) but I hate the sag! I may just get a leveling kit till than to put it back up to stock.
