So I understand the physical difference in these products (the rock stars move the shock mount and increase clearance). Is there a reason the Rock stars wouldn't work with my current suspension (AEV 4.5" premium) or I shouldn't get them vs the basic skids.

I am doing the full evo magnum 44 C2 on the front and figured I would do the back LCAs at the same time.

Thanks

BP

I don't know what/where the AEV interference is. I do know that I like the EVO rock stars as I gained nice clearance with them. It's possible that the AEV conflict is due to the raising of the shock by 1.5" - possibly. Here's mine that I installed a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks. My concern/hope is that the spacer brackets provided by AEV (the 3.5" and 4.5" kits have the same shocks, so the 4.5" kit has a spacer) is basically 1.5" added to the shock, which will be gained with the new rock stars. I think the math will zero out, but cutting tends to be a one time thing and I don't want to be left in a bind if it doesn't work.

I guess I'll have to do some more looking and measuring in the morning.

Thanks

I think I'd do the Rock Stars and just pick up another pair of rear shocks. The EVO products are first class.

I am sold on the evo part, I am taking a loss on another setup to go evo. That said the ride with the progressive coils and bilsteins is very nice and not something I want to change. I hope this can work.

Has anyone installed this setup???

if you are worried about the shocks bottoming out with the rock stars, add half and inch of additional bump stop and you should be good to go.

I'm worried about over extending the shocks. The extension bracket looks to be less than an inch. May just try it out
