Default Best/Easiest mod I've done yet

Just installed a tail gate shock and I freakin love it! The install took about 30 minutes and now my tail gate doesn't crush me when I'm getting crap out of the back when parked on an incline. You gotta appreciate the little things. Lol

I installed mine about 2 weeks ago and I'm pretty stoked about it too!

I have the locking Rampage one. I was debating on this one and a few others, but buddy got it for my Bday and I dig it. I found online for $35 when others are around $70

Here is the one I got...

quadratec.com/products/13027_2001.htm

4wheelparts has exact same setup for $38.99

Talk to Joe (Quadratec rep here on forums) and he will price match and probably throw shipping in for free

I went to the local junkyard and took a shock off the trunk of a Ford Escort. Cost was $5

I have a 2011 and it comes with a strut to hold the tailgate open and I was so pleased that Jeep has finally done some small thnings that make it easier on us when we are off camber. Hopefully they will find some other things to do for us that make things better.
