Default All Terrain Tire Question

Hey Guys,

Hopefully going this weekend to pick up a set of tires. Just got my TF BB delivered and wanna get 35's on ASAP. I know there are a lot of threads on here comparing different tires but haven't seen this combo yet. Right now i'm between BFG All Terrains, General Grabber AT2's or Goodyear Duratrac's.

Just looking for pro's and con's, anyone with experience with these tires, that sort of stuff. Thanks all!

I only have experience with BFG ATs. They are excellent on road, great on sand and dirt, and got me through some serious snow storms. My buddy has them on his JK(32") and it hung with my Jeep with Rubicon MTs with zero problems on the rocks. I just don't like how they look.

And they last 40k+ miles.

My wife has the BFG A/Ts on her pathfinder. They work well on ice and hard packed snow and are pretty good in the rocks and hold up well. The duratracs work well in these conditions as well but may work slightly better in the mud and are a little more aggressive. All seem to be good choices.

I'm not sure what size wheel your running but the closest thing you'll find to a 35 in the BFG A/T KOs is a 315/70-17(34.5"). That is of course if your running 17" wheels. This is what I am currently running on mine.

I went browsing for tires today and found BFG AT KO's in 35x12.50 R15. I think that's what i'm gonna go with. Although i do love the look of the new Grabber's with the red letters. They run around 80 lbs per tire in the same size though so that kinda turned me off.

I run the Falken all terrain and am satisfied with them. I find that the 315's measure about 33 3/4 under load, but they are quiet and have performed well so far in rocks and snow. only ok in mud. Didi I mention that they only run about $200 per tire?
