Default GenRight Flares versus Poison Spyder Flares

Anyone have any experience with the GenRight fender flares versus the Poison Spyder crusher flares?

Looks wise they seem almost identical but the GenRight ones are a lot cheaper, regardless of if you go with steel or aluminum.

I've always heard good things about PS, but not seeing a reason to spend the extra money here.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

I looked at both of these.

I was making my decission based on pictures so that is not always the best way. They are very similair. The Genrights cost less. They also look to have more of a straight angle turn on the outer tube in middle of the flare. I could not find a weight on them but I'm sure the fronts are around the same 11lbs of the PSC.

I ended up choosing the PSC. I bought the Brawler lite Bumper so figured I would stay with the same product line and in my opinion the PSC flares have more rounded turn on the outer tube. Plus the rears are 5.5" wide and the fronts are 9" wide. So if there is any concern about the legal aspects for tread coverage seems the PSC are wider. I took my measurments from where they mount flush to the JK and the outer tube.

Don't think you can go wrong either way.

I have the GenRight flares and like them. I feel like its a 50/50 choice, you can't go wrong with either of them.

Honestly, I went with the psc because there are more write ups and feedback then the genright. I'm pleased with the choice

Sorry, I'm not trying to hijack the thread...do you have pics of your jeep from the front with these fenders? Thanks!

I ended up ordering the Genright flares, so we'll see how they look once they arrive.

I went with the steel versions just to keep the costs down.

I ended up going with the Genright flares and loved them while I had them on. They looked awesome and got a lot of compliments.

Unfortunately I had to take them off and go with wider ones because of the damn full tire coverage law here in NH.
