Extending breather tubes?
Most extend their breather tubes because when you are wheeling and go through mud or water crossings the breather lines for the axle are short and funnel water into the differentials. It is extremely easy to do and just requires longer tubes or an extension to mount the tube higher up on the frame or in the cab to avoid water in diff fluid. If you are planning to do some wheeling, it is recommend by my to do so, unless you want to change diff fluids after each hard wheeling trip or water crossing. All you need to do it decide if you want a longer new line or if you want to add to what comes from the factory. To go the local parts store and get the same OD tubing (forgive me, I forgot the OD) and get the length you need/want and replace. You will also need a barb if you are extending the line and I also recommend hose clamps to ensure sealed lines at the axle. Hope this helps!
For the rear if you pull off the passenger said taillight you can see a spot inside the body where you can snake the longer tube up into there through a piece of foam and zip tie it down. Once you open it up you'll see what I mean.
For the front you can keep the tube running up the shock tower and up across the top of the firewall.
