Default Rugged Ridge XHD Storage Ends do not seal properly!!

Time to post a new thread I been looking on JK forum and can't find anything close to what I need info on.

I just received my Rugged Ridge Bumper and all components that I ordered to go with to include the XHD Storage Ends.

Does anyone have any problems with the ends not staying shut when locked or have found they can pry open the ends as I have demonstrated in this photo. Now I haven't tried any-further to break into the storage end but you can see the problem.
Right to left:
XHD Storage End shut and locked. Me opening the XHD Storage End while locked, XHD Storage End ajar.

what I am doing in my photo does not take much effort try it on your own XHD Storage Ends let me know what you think!!

Shouldn't do that. Otherwise, what's the point? I'd send em back.

I am looking at the same bumper and thought the storage would be cool for some extra tie downs or bungee cords, nothing expensive. I was wondering how secure and sealed they were.

I guess this helped me make a decision that if I get the XHD that I will get the regular end pieces.

So I have contacted 4WD.com about the problem sent them the pics that you see here and they contacted rugged ridge. Rugged Ridge is sending me new ends told me I can keep the old ones.

I am going to attempt to actually open the storage ends while locked. Not just break the seal. I will report back if i am able to open them.

One more note to awesome that I am getting new ends no cost to me . The rep told me the pictures are what helped so if any one has an issue just take photos.

I reply back if the new ones do the same thing.

... They should fix the issue before they sell them for as much as they do.. The videos blew me away.. I am shocked at the poor quality of the product. I was saving my money for the aluminum version of this bumper and now.. I think I'll go back to my original choice.. The rockslide engineering shorty bumper.
