Default Winch: which is best bang for the buck

Im looking for a cheap reliable winch... Def perfer a syn rope for weight an less maintance... Looking to spend no more than 400-450..
Any suggestions or recommadations thanks guys.... Im just going to mount it to the stock bumper on my 2011 JK

Chris from jeep add ons has a 10k with synthetic line for 409. Or around there. Not sure if that was a black fri price.
Worth checking out.

I bought a badlands 9k for 249.99 then going to buy the synthetic line separate.

Didn't somebody say recently that the Recon was the same as Badlands essentially (i.e. different sticker)?

I run the Superwinch LP8500 gen 2 and did get it for $300 and I freak'n love it! Engo has a winch that seems good too I just read about.

You can get the Superwinch LP8500 for $300, then add a synthetic line. I've had mine for a year and it works great.
