Default I DID IT! Now I have a few questions...

I finally did it! I added a lift, 315s, Ace rails and some other goodies! As always despite my planning ran into a few snags.

The list:
Goodyear MTR/Ks 315/70/17
Level 8 Strike 5 wheels
TF 2.5 Coil Lift
Bilstein 5100s
TF Exhaust Spacers
Ace Rock Rails
Jeep gas door,
ProClip phone mount
AEV Procal programmer

First thanks to 616fun for his help with the install! Its always good to have help and second opinions on things like the issues below.

A few of the snags:
The passenger front shock is a BEAR to get the top nut on or off! I could barely get a wrench on it let alone move it. I cut some of the plastic above the shock back to get some room. Even then only a stubby would fit.
Also on shocks, the hardware that came with the Bilstein 5100s was too fat to use. After putting it on there were no threads showing to put the nut on. We even tried compressing it and no go. So I used the stock washers and rubber doughnuts. That worked fine. Anyone else run into that?
I ordered a Teraflex spare tire extension and it holds the spare WAY out from the tail gate. Without it, the tire hits the stock rear bumper. I need something that holds it about 2" higher but no further out. Suggestions? I am trying to avoid spending another grand on a bumper / carrier combo.

Other than that, it went pretty smoothly!
Thanks to Northridge4x4 for the parts and Discount Tire for the tire/wheel combo!

And of course some pics

Unfortunatly about the tire carrier/ bumper issue if you go any higher and might put stress on the tailgate and I know its not exactly what you want to hear but you might want to consider one.

I found the easiest way for the shock nut was to get an offset 16mm gear wrench. Then you put the wrench on the nut with the bent portion of the wrench down. I got both my front shocks off in minutes.

Your rig is looking good!

The AEV tire carrier works with the stock bumper..........if all else fails.
