I have put this lift in my '08 2dr X. I got the kit with the rear track bar relocation bracket. The bracket has 2 mounting holes. My question is, should the track bar be in the top hole or the bottom? My rear axle is shifted about an inch to the drivers side. Would changing which hole I mounted in fix this? I realize an adjustable track bar would be best, but for now I just want to make sure I'm installed correctly. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

The lower hole will shift the axle to the passengers side.

 

I kind of figured. The directions were kind of vague on that one, but I figured dropping it down would pull it over.

 

Thats kind of strange that you're shift was to the driver side when the track bar is attached to the frame on the passenger side,shift should have been to that side. Causing it to move closer to the inside wheel on the driver side.

 

That's what I thought. I figured I needed to drop to that lower hole to pull it back but I wanted to be sure before I did it.

 

I'm going to move my rear track bar to that lower hole in the bracket. Do you think I can do that on the ground? Or will I probably need to get the weight of the rear?........

 

If you have a ratchet type tie down I used them to pull the body over enough to put the track bar on a ratchet strap is always best though. If its just a very small amount it needs to be moved have someone push on the body while you put the bolt through it. Ive always done it on the ground the rear always seems to be the worst.
