Default regearing 2012 sahara 4 door. 4.56 or 4.88 gears???

I am about to regear my 2012 sahara 4 door manual transmission. I am putting 35's on it and would like to know what gears I should go with, 4.56 or 4.88. I put 4.88 in my 2007 with the same setup and was very happy with it, but with the new motor and added HP should I go that low?

I've seen the chart and was hoping someone that has regeared one of the 2012's would tell me how they drive with the new gearing.

I'm running stock 4.10's myself. Anything more - over kill with a 2012 engine.

Do you have a manual? Is 6th gear usable for normal driving?

So is the chart overkill because 4.56 is in the green ideal range? Don't want to kill my mileage too much

Any reason why you can't try out the 35s with the stock gears and then decide what you "need"?

I have 3.21's right now and I feel it is a little on the weak side. I was hoping to take advantage of the new motor the best way possible. I know with 35's it will for sure not be what I'm looking for.

I'd put the 35s on and then drive with the 3.21s to see the tallest gear you can use at highway speed; maybe 5th or even 4th. Then calculate the final drive ratio of that gear with your 3.21 ratio and divide it by 0.79 to find what rear end gear would make 6th gear comparable.

Im running 33's and a 3.21 gear. Highest i would go would be 4.10. Mine does bog down pretty bad in 6th. If im under 2k rpms in 6th and the wind blows i slow down. If i go up a slight incline (hwy overpass) i slow down. It sucks
