Default What is a good, reasonably priced suspension lift? 4 inches

I live in the city, but I do like to take a ride on a few trails now and then. Nothing too crazy though. I'm looking to lift my JK Unlimited Sport about 4 inches. I hate the way body lifts look, so I'm looking to go straight suspension. I've been looking at some Pro Comp and Skyjacker lift kits. Both 4 inches. Are there any other lift kits that are good, yet reasonable? I also saw a rough country lift kit that was very well priced. Can anyone help me out here? Would anyone recommend the Rough Country lift?

What size tires do you want to run? You can easily fit 35x12.50's with a 2.5 inch budget boost. A 4 inch suspension lift is only necessary if you want to run 37's. Then you will absolutely have to regear your axles, which will cost more than the suspension lift.

I'm getting 17" wheels and 35" tires. Can I go 3.5 or 3? I'd like to keep my budget $600 or so. But depending, I may be able to go up to around $1k. Trying to get a pretty good lift and not break the bank, since I still have to buy the tires also, and re-gear it.

awesome! Was thinking about the Old Man Emu 3 inch lift. I think they also make a 2.5.

You want 4.5" or less backspacing! Depending on your lift kit, you may or may not clear the sway bar links with 5" backspacing.

Teraflex 2.5 coil lift under 500$ without shocks
clears 35s at full flex with sway bars disconnected

Go 4" Rough Country Lift, its $500 and you get great customer service and life time warranty. Go 33" tires unless you want to re-gear your JK if you want 35's. You'll lose power in you JK the bigger the tires.

I got my Old Man Emu 2.5 inch lift kit from Rocky Road Outfitters. It was less than 600 with their shocks and came with coil springs, shocks and rear panhard kit. Their customer service was awesome as well. I am running 315/75R16 tires which are nearly 35 inches. Rides great on and off road. I got 3 inches of lift too. I'm sure it will sag over time but it is good for now. I posted before and after shots.
