Got the XRC 8000 and have needed to use it twice. Worked perfect both times and only had it about 4 months.

I've used mine a lot including pulling myself out of this hole Sunday. I had the lever that switches from engaged to free spool give me problems once, but I'd recommend it to anyone I've got my money's worth out of it for sure.

I have this winch and I've used it numerous times. Pulling myself out, pulling others out, pulling some of my brothers landscaping out.... pretty much has paid for itself already. No complaints and shipped for $299.
