Default Which 33x12.50x17 should I get?

This is for a 2 door Daily Driver, so 90% on pavement. I won't be on rocks, just trails and mud.

What would be the best tire for me thats offered in 33x12.50x17? I'm going to be mounting them on the Moabs with wheel spacers, and I plan on getting the Coil Spring Leveling kit from Teraflex when the 2 Door version comes out.

i really like the new nitto trail grapplers and, are what i'm installing on our new dozer jk. if tread life is important, nothing wears better than bfg's - they wear like iron. if you're wanting something that'll give you great tread life, better mpg and still work great on the trail, falken at's are the way to go. but, that's just me.

I'm Partial to Cooper tires, but I've never used the STT, so I'm not sure if I'd like it or not. I am leaning towards the Falkens - everything I read about them seems excellent.

A lot of people here on the forums love the STT tires. I did look into getting a set, but man...they are EXPENSIVE.

I am thinking about going to General Grabber AT2's in a 33x12.50R17 myself after my Duratracs wear out. I like the beefy look.

the cooper sst's are a really good tire. i have tested out a set and liked them a lot. pretty much the same tire as the procomp xtreme. the falkens may not look as pretty but, they are a great all around tire. we've run a set and found they perform excellent in just about anything.

I know everyones mileage vary's, but from my experience BFG are overrated and overpriced.

Right now, in my mind I am between the STT and the Falken...I just can't decide whether I want a mean lookin' knobby mudsplitter or more of an AT. Anyone have any insight into how many miles you can put on these tires and what kind of MPG difference I'll see with 3.73's and a manual? I'm hoping to get at least 40k miles and not lose more than 2 mpg from stock.

I have the Falken Wild Peaks and we love them so far. They are extremely quiet on the road, they have a 50,000 mile tread wear warranty and they have performed great off road so far. They look better in person than in pictures in my opinion also. And for the $$, they are hard to beat!

I have to agree. Don't be fooled by the aggressive looks of the trail grapplers. They are very good on the road smooth and fairly quiet. Off-road they are great
