Will be installing the smittybilt src front bumper and the recon 10,500 winch. Any pointers before I start on it?

 

You planning on putting in new front springs? The stock ones will sag a couple of inches with the extra combined weight of the steel bumper & heavy winch.

 

X2 on the stock springs. If you don't plan on lifting it I would look at heavier rated springs for the front and/or spacers

 

if you don't have it already, pick up a metric tool set that comes with an 18mm socket. i would also get a 6" ratchet extension as it can be tough to get the nuts out without one. the plastic air dam and trim piece on top have screws holding everything in place that may or may not work. if not, a long screw driver or small pry bar will help to just pop them off.

 

Thanks for the help. I will be getting a lift but I have to save up some more money. Will the rake be too unbearable with the weight?

 

I believe you want to mount the winch to the bumper first before installing bumper.. I could be wrong but i believe thats what ive heard

Should I just get the teraflex leveling kit till I have the money for the 2.5 coil lift or would the leveling kit even help with the rake from the bumper and winch

i would install what you have first and then, if needed, add spacers to help compensate for any sag afterwards.
