Depending on what the kit has. you may wanna get some PB blaster and soak the hell outta the bolts for few hours
Edit: also if you have stock wheels, the site says youll need wheel spacers

"Warning: If planning to use stock wheels, wheel spacers (Part #1055000) must be purchased with this kit"

I'd PM Joe at teraflex... I thought I read something a white back about needing to relocate part of the exhaust.. Your best bet is Joe!

A set of ratchet wrenches and a good breaker bar not to mention a few air tools makes things a lot easier.

I just did this install a week ago. Overall it went very smoothly. I had a buddy 616fun help me out. It was great to have a second set of hands. You can get it done solo but it would take longer.

I posted this thread https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...-few-questions...
Here were my comments
The passenger front shock is a BEAR to get the top nut on or off! I could barely get a wrench on it let alone move it. I cut some of the plastic above the shock back to get some room. Even then only a stubby would fit.
Also on shocks, the hardware that came with the Bilstein 5100s was too fat to use. After putting it on there were no threads showing to put the nut on. We even tried compressing it and no go. So I used the stock washers and rubber doughnuts. That worked fine. Anyone else run into that?

To get the front axle to drop far enough, we unbolted the bracket on the axle that holds the brake lines. That gave more than enough room.

I did NOT loosen all the control arms as instructed. I saw no reason to and still do not.

It is a well laid out kit, the instructions were good. Ratcheting box wrenches were VERY handy.

On the TF exhaust spacers, I had to add three washers to get them tight with the supplied bolts. Just this week I replaced the flat washers with lock washers because the bolts had loosened up a bit. No problems since adding the lock washers.

I love the look and the ride.

Have fun.

4 per bolt, 16 total. I was not sure about mixing flat and lock washers so I just used 4 per bolt. Seems to work just fine.
