Exclamation CANT GREASE TF SWAYBAR LINK (broken zerk)!!

I was installing the Teraflex leveling kit on my JK today and broke one of the stupid zerk fittings off while screwing them on. I have tried to removed the broken zerk from the threading for the past couple hours with no success. I was able to install the zerks and grease the other three bushings, but obviously cannot grease the bushing with the broken zerk. I'm afraid i may just have to buy a new link

Question: What will happen if i just dont grease that one bushing? is the worst case scenario that i wear that bushing and have to replace the swaybar link (~30$)? I am thinking i may have to replace it anyways since i cant get the zerk out, so that being the case, will i be ok to drive around with that one bushing not greased until i can order a new one? My buddy said that the worst thing that may happen it could start to squeak, but that there is no reason to really panic or rush to replace it. especially being that the stock ones were not even greased at all...

Thoughts? Thanks!

Call Teraflex, my guess is maybe they'll give you a new one.

A few options to get it out.

1. Drill it out and re-tap it for a new zerk.
2. Take it to a friend to spot weld a bolt to it so you can turn it out.
3. try something like the following:

or like you say, just wheel it as is.

I would try Teraflex as well like the other poster mentioned.

Good luck!

Thats a pretty small Zerk,if you can find a left-handed drill bit that small it will back the broken piece out.

Call teraflex I am sure they will send you a new one. I bent mine after it came loose while on a trail and they sent a new one without question. You will be fine with it on while waiting for a new one. Top notch customer service.
