Default Have 2.5 TF coil lift... want more

I have the 2.5 inch TF coil lift and want about another inch of lift. are there any parts i can re use from my current lift? I know i could add some coil spacers or body lift to achieve this but i would like to get more articulation out of it as well.

If I decide to add some 1 inch coil spacers would I have to do anything else... brake line/shock extensions, front/rear track bars?

just trying to find an affordable way to get more lift... I know I should have just went with a 4 inch from the start

It depends on what you've already done. If you're jumping up to 3.5", you're going to need to add a bunch of adjustables. You'll need at least one set of control arms on each axle. Never can keep track of whether it's the lower or uppers. You'll also need adjustable track bars, some extended sway bar links and your stock shocks won't extend far enough so they'll have to go. You'll need bigger bump stops so you don't wreck your springs. If your driveshafts are stock you may have to replace those too. I can't remember off hand how far they'll extend. Have fun, spend $$$!

Just add a 1" body lift. Do a search. I did a write a while back on how to shift your rear bumper up 1" to hide the rear pinch seam. This will not work (easily) if you are using the AEV tire carrier. The spindle would need to be shifted up 1" on its mounting bracket. Could be done with a cut and weld if you have the tools.

There is a whole section in the FAQ on what is needed for 4" of lift. Wish I could find it for you. I would piece together what you need rather than start all over. In addition to your 2.5" lift you will need.

- Extended Brake lines.
- Adjustable Trackbars (front and rear)
- 4" coils?
- Lower Front, Upper Rear Flex arms at minimum.
-Check Part number on shocks, they may not be long enough.

If you click "tech" in the upper rh corner of the Teraflex website you can view the install instructions and parts list for the 4" lift. Compare that to your setup. Then sell you 2.5" TF left overs.

I sat in the same position that you are in now and wound up just pulling the 2.5 and selling it and going all out and getting the TF 4 inch. I've been much happier ever since. Go for it you wont regret it.
