Default Genright Evap Skid Plate on a 2012? Anyone

Wondering if anyone has installed the new GenRight Evap Skid plate on a 4 door 2012?
I just got mine in the mail and took a look at it and it looks different enough for me to ask.
The main concern is that the stock evap canister bolts to the stock skid/mounting plate. The GenRight one I guess will only attach to the 2 forward tabs on the skid plate. I'm a little concerned about this....
The skid plate will bolt up to the factory bolts on the jeep and look killer, as long as I don't look the canister after installing it.
