Default Any suggestions on best tire for me?

Hi everyone,.. Pearls of wisdom from all you wise jeep owners:
I have a 2010 jk mountain ed x with sport package (have no idea what all that means, but everyone asks) i have a 2" puck lift( i am a short girl) and i''m still stink bugged,.. Kinda like the way it looks,.. I have 2" spacers and ultra goliath 17" rims with 5.0 backspacing. I currently have the crappy 32" oem tires on there, and i hate them, so i want to get bigger tires.
What are your thoughts on moving to 35's and what works best for looking and running good balance? I love the sidewall tread, and i can stand the noise on the hwy, and the bumping, and bucking, and jiggling,.. But i don't want to bog down my auto trans, and the gears to the point where i can't get up a dang hill.
What are your thoughts on tires?

35's w/auto trans and stock gears are gonna bog you down, period. I have 35's on my Rubicon (4:10 stock gears) and there is a very readily apparent difference between acceleration when I had my stock 32's vs the 35's now! (and mpg drop too!) But, I love the looks with the bigger tires!

I would definitely highly recommend Goodyear Wrangler MTR Kevlars if you want an aggressive looking tire that still runs down the road nicely, mine are 35x12.50R17 and I love them! I have put about 4000 miles on them so far, all street mileage. (sad though that I haven't had a chance to go wheeling yet, DOH! LOL!) The only bad thing I can say about them is that one of them took a lot of weight to balance (10oz, IIRC) the rest were fairly reasonable though. (about 3-5oz) I mention this because I have heard of some people having balancing trouble with them.

planning on doing any wheeling? really depends on what ya plan to do. I like my KM2's, ride smooth, quiet are and stick to everything when I go wheeling. If you do alot of highway, 35s are going to be crappy with stock gears, especially with an auto. Key thing to do will be to turn off O/D or else the trans will constantly be trying to find the right gear. I did that for 2 years before I regeared to 5.13s, and I wish I didnt wait so long!
