Default Gen1 AEV Premium bumper compatible with '12?

Anyone have input on mounting a gen1 AEV premium on a '12 Sahara? I'm told I will have to relocate the vacuum pump but I'm wondering about the compatibility of the gen1 winch plate and my vehicle. My issue is that apparently the gen1 bumper requires the winch plate for mounting and is apparently not compatible with the new generation winch plate. No big deal except that the gen1 winch plate is not compatible with the '12 mount. Any information on a solution would be appreciated. It's taking awhile to get answers from AEV so if someone has first hand knowledge I would be very grateful. I posted another thread looking for other possible bumpers because if I can't find a way to mount the AEV it's going on the for sale forum. Incidentally, if anyone is interested in purchasing it let me know. I can't post to "for sale" for awhile.

Obviously I would rather mount it then sell but If it won't go on my Jeep then it's useless to me.

I just went through this with my 2012. That vacuum pump is a PIA. It's the bracket that holds it that gets in the way. I just installed a Hyline Bumper and had to dremel around the bracket and cut.

The relocation kit costs $25---there are two kits out there (one that moves it under the hood and one that moves it to the sway bar bolts).

But yes...the vacuum pump bracket will interfere with many bumpers...just hard to tell which ones.
